Use a clear project structure so the next step is easy to find.

Example instructions for the fictional Northstar product.

1. Name work by its outcome

   Use a project name that tells your team what you are trying to finish.

2. Break the work into tasks

   Each task should describe one action someone can complete. Start its name with a verb.

3. Assign an owner

   Give each task one person who is responsible for moving it forward.

4. Review what is next

   Keep completed work marked as done and check the next open task before adding more.
